The SIMpLe Startup and Innovation Management SimuLation was developed by the Eotvos Loránd University, the Bergen University College and the BusinessWorks Ltd.
SIMpLe is a web-based working platform that aim to inspire non-economic students to be more innovative and creative with respect to entrepreneurship. The platform supports multidisciplinary start-up, innovation management and entrepreneurship courses.
SIMpLe assists non-business students to develop basic entrepreneurial knowledge and teamwork competencies. This is done by simulating the start-up phase of business development from idea to first business concept. The working platform allows students to collect numerous ideas, evaluate other students’ ideas individually and develop business concepts in teams to submit one final business proposal at the end. Students, lecturers and mentors can validate the business proposals. There are two competitions included in the software. The idea and the business proposal achieving the highest scores based on the evaluations win SIMpLe two cups.
